Security and responsibility

Project-specific environments and deliberate data handling.

Security settings are defined around project classification, ethics, institutional requirements and approved data location before transfer begins.

Secure interconnected computing infrastructure
01

Controlled environments

Projects use isolated workspaces with access limited to authorised participants.

  • MFA and role-based permissions
  • Encrypted transfer and storage
  • Activity logging
02

Ethics and authority

Researchers must confirm that required human and/or animal ethics approvals cover the experiment and proposed analysis.

  • Mandatory declaration
  • Authority to provide the data
  • Evidence may be requested for review
03

Researcher-held raw data

Researchers must retain the authoritative, complete and verified copy of every raw file.

  • Project storage is not a permanent archive
  • Retention period defined in the SOW
  • Controlled deletion after closure
04

Data acceptance

Public, confidential and de-identified research data can be assessed. Identifiable clinical or genomic data requires a separate controlled-data review.

  • Classification before transfer
  • Approved region selection
  • Higher-risk projects reviewed separately
